R.I.P. Flavia Lounge

I see the ice cream parlour shut down. Anyone have an idea what could be done with the space? Does anyone have a clue what the rent is?

There was a letter a while ago about some cafe style thing. I suspect it would be some kehbab place. Not too keen as that will no doubt be filled of drunk people, keeping me awake.

Weird, we never got that letter. It looks like Flavia applied for a licence to serve hot food but never got it, which is presumably why they eventually closed. (Some people figured the ice parlour was to be the Trojan horse for something meatier.) Not sure anyone will get a licence for a kebab down there. But you're right, it would be a disaster and certainly worth putting up a fight for.

any idea who/what company/landlord is in charge of letting the place?

What's the latest on this?

Kebab house I heard. I live two floors above it.
