Caretaker

Whatever happened to Alan? And did I get this right: his successor, who was announced as "the new caretaker", has already been replaced by a new recruit, female? Has anoyne got a clue what this caretaker business is all about anyway (apart from mopping the elevator once a week)? If that's a hundred quid a wekk, I'll take the job!

I have to agree, but anyone would be better than any 'caretaker' we've had so far. Even getting the lift mopped is an improvement. A quite good cleaner appeared but I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks. The block looked better for a while but don't know what the score is now. Seems managing agents don't check on their buildings much, certainly no one comes and checks on routine things that need doing!

100 quid per week is many times less than the caretaker bill
