Stonedale Direct Debit

Hi all, Stonedale never used to allow monthly direct debits to spread the service charge cost, but I thought I remembered reading recently that they'd had a change of heart but can't find any letter from them about this, did I imagine it? Does anyone know if this is now ok to do, has anyone started paying by monthly DD?

i'd love to, and have asked the new guy about it, but no reply as yet, even though the payment is now pretty late.
