The forum seems to be slowing up. Anyone have any ideas to increase membership and activity?

Still so many people in the building who seem disinterested or are not aware of its existence.

It probably didn't help to much that when we put up the posters it had a typo in the web address.

Of course some people may just be not interested, but I think the forum is such a valuable resource! In the winter when we had problem after problem with Stonedale it would have been great to have been able to ask the opinions of neighbours!

Let's keep it up!

Forum fading Empty Keeping forum up

I suppose that if this forum is to go anywhere, it needs some kind of an event where people meet. Up to this point it's like meeting people in the elevator: you don't really know whether you should be greeting them or not. Considering there are a few bikers in the house, my proposal would be to set up a posse to take part in the Mayor's Sky Ride on Sep. 5. Best way to go would be to post signs in the hall and elevator (which I would of course volunteer to do). We could plan to go for food afterwards as well. If someone in this forum is interested, please do not hesitate to knock at my door, I'm home most of the time, Flat 35.

Sounds good to me. Keen biker, but dodgy back has put me out of action.

When is it again? I think its a great idea and would definately get some people involved. Could even finish it with a few drinks at the Camel or Florist, so people feel comfortable.

It would be good to get a permanent message on the notice board letting people know this forum exists? Not sure also why we are not able to cultivate more of a communal message board downstairs and why notices (i.e. not commerical) keep getting taken down?

I agree, it's odd how certain messages are taken down.

If I get a chance early next week, I will put one up. If anyone else has the chance, please go ahead and do this for me.
