Routine repairs Empty Routine repairs

Hi

I'd really like to know the secret of how to get anyone at Stonedale to respond to e-mails requesting small routine repairs (that should be done automatically!!). I have been asking for the light to be fixed in the lift for months and months - it's hanging loose and dangerous apart from anything else. I also asked for the panel to be replaced and Diaz said they were looking for an alternative solution as people keep taking them - that was certainly well over 6 months ago so I'm not sure how long the 'solution' is going to take. I had no response to my last e-mail to Diaz. I tried Anna when she was standing in for her and since sending the e-mail on 15th June I still haven't had the courtesy of a reply from her either. Really very poor service. Is there a secret to getting these simple tasks done? I'd be grateful if anyone knows.

I can't say I've tried mailing myself, but what I do know is that stonedale manage loads of properties so no doubt they have a groaning inbox. Diaz seems pretty accessible by phone, and if you want something more concrete and in writing then perhaps a recorded delivery letter?

usual secret to dealing with people with large workloads is to be the person making the most noise, calling and emailing constantly.. wheel that squeaks the most gets the oil etc
